What’s not to love about summer nights? Other than the fact that spring gets in the way of us not having them sooner. As it turns out, Sonic wants to skip spring and go straight to summer.

Since Sonic has over a million combinations, people can create a different drink every night. Introducing Sonic’s Flavors of Summer, where slushee lovers can create drinks and share their recipes with the world.

On Sonic’s IG story, users will be able to click on the drink template, screenshot it, and design their own. In collaboration with Art Direction, I wrote the names of these drink names.

Next, Sonic will take all of the submitted drink flavors and turn it into a social booklet of summer drink creations. I researched drink combinations and which would be a popular fit.

Not only can users create drink creations on IG, they can create and name their creations in real life. My AD partner and I envisioned how this concept could come to life on the streets, and mocked up this example to reflect our vision.
