That day I was in Florence. Today I write to you
from my home in Phoenix, and who knows where next?

I’ve lived in cities like Austin, San Francisco, and Seattle, to name a few. It’s been a hell of a journey, but I wouldn’t change a thing! From agency to in-house, I’ve worked with talented souls from every department and made clients and friends along the way.

I am so grateful for all of the brands and collaborations that made me the writer and leader I am today.

I’m excited to continue building stable partners in my career who are looking for creatives that bring a global, fresh perspective to everything they do.

I’m humbled to be just as obsessed with writing as I was on Day 1!

I still dream about creating ads that change the world. Call me an optimist, but I believe in the power of what a great idea has the potential to do, if executed by the right team at the right time.

I’ve been lucky to learn from some of the best and brightest minds in the world, shaping me into the creative I am today.

Here are some highlights from my journey!

• Kicking off my career in Austin and writing for some of the most Texas brands out there, y’all: Stubbs Bar-b-q, Hye Cider Co., and Texas Tourism. 

• The day we won BMW as a client after a big pitch at Goodby, Silverstein, and Partners, there were BMWs lined down California St. to celebrate in style in San Francisco. 

• Living and working in rainy Seattle, and pitching an idea for a Taco Time Time Squad that the client loved. It’s still one of my favorite campaigns to date!

• Being mentored by Cameron Day, son of Guy Day, in my first few years in the business. Ironically, I worked at Chiat Day LA, and yes, there were dogs everywhere! 

• Working at R/GA Portland and writing for Nike for the first time. That was a special moment for me. That’s when I knew I would work for Nike someday, and I did. 

• The day I started my LLC! It not only elevated my creativity, but also transformed me into a business-minded thinker and dedicated partner to my clients.
